Wall Street’s Purls Yarn Emporium and its crafty followers may have had a little something to do with it.

Purl's Yarn Emporium opened on Wall Street in 2008 and has been changing the landscape for yarn enthusiasts ever since. Once inside Purl's Yarn Emporium, you'll find a mountain of yarn and accessories.

Underneath this one roof the yarn runs from one end of the yarn making spectrum to the other. From being curated from the coats of animals on local farms to yarns from all over the USA and around the world, the yarns here are among the best you'll find.

Who knows WHAT you can do — *with just the right yarn?*

Whether you are a Crocheting Cathy or a Knitting Katherine, you're sure to find everything you're looking for in this massive yarn barn, including some friendly lessons, in case you want to brush up on your skills.
