Today, I’ve decided to take a look at the best cities in Indiana for retirement. These are cities with active communities, relaxing cities, cities with a lot of things to do, and cities that just don’t cost too terribly much to live in. One thing I discovered is that there’s a city in Indiana that has actually made the top ten list for most affordable cities to retire in in the entire United States. So, here they are – your seven best choices for retirement.

Everywhere you look, you're going to find out that Columbus is considered to be the best city for retirement in the state. This is also the city I was talking about that ranks in the top ten in the USA. While you're in Columbus, you absolutely have to enjoy an ice cream soda for just $3 and some change from Zaharakos. This being an establishment that has managed to look the exact same since it opened in the year 1900.

The area has tons of beautiful buildings and lots of public art to enjoy. There's a beautiful wildflower garden and recreational shopping is a pretty big deal.
